Rampen's group sledding takes place at Skarmoen Alpine Park outside Bodø - a 350-metre dedicated toboggan run with ski lift, specially built sleds, helmets and goggles included. Booked by group only.

Rampen's specially designed sleds attach to the ski lift, so you spend your time on the slopes having fun. The sleds have an easily accessible brake suitable for both young and old. Everything you need is included – sled, helmet and safety glasses.

Everything you need is included – toboggan, helmet and safety glasses. Just show up in warm clothes and sturdy winter shoes, and we take care of the rest. Slalom boots are not permitted on the sleds.

What does sledding cost?

Sledding at Skarmoen is delivered on request, so we quote each booking based on group size, duration and any extras such as transport or catering. Send us an enquiry and you will get a price for your group.

Do I have to book in advance?

Yes, sledding is only available by advance booking for private groups. We do not offer drop-in.

What days can I sled?

Rampen offers booking on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays – as well as Saturdays and Sundays after 4:00 PM.

Is sledding suitable for children?

Yes! Children under 7–8 should ride with an adult. Older children can steer their own sled. The run is a safe, prepared trail.

What should I wear?

Dress for a day in the snow – layers with wool, windproof outerwear and warm gloves. Sturdy winter shoes required – slalom boots are not allowed.

Does Rampen offer transportation?

Yes, we can include transportation for your group. It takes about 20 minutes from Bodø city centre to Skarmoen.
